Opt for Reusable Products It may seem like a small thing but making the switch from disposable items (like paper towels for cleaning or plastic water bottles) to reusable items (like cloth rags or metal water bottles) can have a big impact on our environment over time. Investing in long-lasting items means less waste going into our landfills and waterways—which is something we should all get behind. Plus, reusable products often last longer than their disposable counterparts so you won’t have to replace them as often. Look For Eco-Friendly Brands When shopping for products made from materials like wood or cotton, look for brands that source their materials sustainably and use eco-friendly production methods such as recycled packaging and energy-efficient manufacturing processes. Doing some research beforehand can help ensure that you’re making an informed decision about which brands are truly dedicated to protecting our planet while providing quality goods at an affordable price point.
